IMPORTANT
Charcoal Safety
Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Burning charcoal produces carbon monoxide, an odorless gas that can cause serious injury or death.
Outdoor Use Only
Never burn charcoal inside a home, garage, tent, vehicle, trailer, recreational vehicle, or other enclosed or partially enclosed space, even if doors or windows are open.
Lighting and Handling
Use charcoal only in equipment intended for charcoal cooking. Follow the grill or appliance manufacturer’s instructions. Keep children and pets away from hot charcoal and hot cooking equipment.
After Use
Allow charcoal and ash to cool completely before disposal. Store unused charcoal in a dry location away from ignition sources and moisture.
Emergency
If carbon monoxide exposure is suspected, move to fresh air immediately and seek emergency medical assistance.
